Orangutans are exploited in zoos, tourist attractions & photo taking. If you are somewhere this is occuring please voice your dissaproval with the management or owner of the attractions. I know it is very appealing to want to be up close & personal but the animals exploited in this way are badly treated, dont have their dietry & behavioural needs met, and are sometimes drugged all for that little old photo with you! They have often arrived at that venue via the wildlife trade with their mothers having been killed in order to get to the baby orangutan.
